Accessibility features
Melbourne Royal is committed to providing full accessibility for all individuals within the community.
Recognising the diverse nature of accessibility needs, both visual and non-visual, it stands as a strategic priority for Melbourne Royal to continuously strive to improve accessibility by engaging with relevant stakeholders, seeking feedback, and implementing new accessibility solutions on an ongoing basis.
Victoria Pavilion is a fully accessible venue providing inclusive access to buildings and facilities, equipment, information and trained staff, addressing the needs of all patrons of the venue.
Melbourne Royal also offers FM Systems and other Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), that can be used in conjunction with or without a hearing aid to help improve speech understanding in challenging situations such as meetings, listening to lectures or seminars, restaurants, using the telephone, watching the television or traveling in the car.
Our goal at Melbourne Royal is to create a welcoming and accommodating environment at Victoria Pavilion where everyone feels valued and included, enabling all patrons to fully participate in our events and activities.
